"Since 2014, our eco-responsible vision has led us to offer a complete range made in France. Every year, we produce 35,000 items (textiles, bags and accessories) in our workshop in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse. It's a strong belief that my teams and I are proud to share on a daily basis. Made in France makes sense at Raidlight because it reduces our carbon footprint, production times and stock levels, etc. We can produce customised items within 15 days. The eco-design of our products combined with Made In France production means that we can fully live up to the values of our company and preserve our playground in the long term. OUR CHOICE TO PRODUCE MADE IN FRANCE
Since 2009, Raidlight has been developing a range of products designed, manufactured and assembled in France. In 2014, Raidlight opened a modern, state-of-the-art Made in France textile workshop in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse.
By choosing to manufacture in France, we are supporting the French textile industry and helping to reduce our carbon footprint. We have a social responsibility, and we have chosen to work with local craftsmen and women to perpetuate the know-how of all those men and women with expert hands who make our products every day.
Developing lightweight, quality products for all trail runners while respecting environmental issues is a real challenge that we want to take up.
On a daily basis, our aim is to offer a range of quality products while protecting the environment, our playground. Our products have to be comfortable and obviously functional, especially when you're doing trail running and ultra trails. Tested on the paths of the Chartreuse before being put on sale, these textile products ensure resistance and lightness. They follow the trail runner's every move and provide the necessary comfort.
OUR WORKSHOP IN SAINT-PIERRE-DE-CHARTREUSE
35,000 Made In France products are designed in our Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse workshop every year.
Located in the heart of the Chartreuse Massif, our 500m² production workshop employs 9 people:
A workshop manager (who also acts as a link between the Research & Development department and production)
Two people in laser cutting and sublimation (printing motifs and logos)
One person for packaging
Five multi-skilled seamstresses (making and repairing products)
This team designs, sews and assembles 35,000 products a year, from bags to shorts to belts.
OUR COLLECTIONS ON PRE-ORDER
Offering items for pre-order is one way of ensuring that we take a responsible approach, since we only make what we sell. It also means that we don't overproduce and stock unsold items. Thanks to pre-orders, we only produce the sizes needed and requested.
Our aim is to promote French know-how on every trail.
